1. What Nekx SMS does
Nekx SMS sells temporary phone numbers that can receive one-time verification messages (SMS). Numbers are rented for a short period, are not yours, and cannot be used to make calls or send messages. We rely on a third-party number provider, so availability can change without notice.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and give a real email address. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens on your account. We may ask you to confirm your email before you can buy.
3. Wallet and payments
You add funds to your wallet in naira through our payment provider (Paystack). VAT at the rate shown at checkout is added to each top-up and paid by you; the amount added to your wallet is the amount before VAT. Wallet balances are kept in US dollars, converted at the naira rate shown when you pay. Fees charged by payment providers are not refundable. Wallet balance is for buying numbers on this site; it is not a bank account, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to another person.
Unused wallet balance can be refunded on request to [email protected] within 30 days of the top-up, less payment processing fees. We may refuse a refund where we suspect fraud or abuse.
4. Numbers and refunds
- When you buy a number, the price is held from your wallet.
- If no number is available, the purchase fails, the number expires without receiving a message, or you cancel before a message arrives, the amount is returned to your wallet automatically.
- Once a message or code has been delivered to the number, the purchase is final and is not refunded.
- We cannot promise that any website or app will accept a number or send a message to it. If a service rejects a number that has already received a code, that is not a reason for a refund.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Nekx SMS for anything unlawful, including fraud, identity theft, harassment, spam, evading bans or limits that a website has placed on you, or creating accounts to deceive or harm others. You must not try to overload, probe or bypass our systems, or resell access without our written agreement. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and may keep the remaining balance where the law and our payment provider allow it, to cover losses. We may share information with the authorities where the law requires.
6. Messages you receive
Messages received on a rented number, including codes, are shown to you and are stored with your order history. Do not use a rented number for anything sensitive: other people may have used the number before and the number may be reused afterwards.
7. Service availability and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running, but we are not liable for lost profits, lost access to third-party accounts, or other indirect losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer law that cannot be limited.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions or refund requests: [email protected]
